Nice and intense red garnet colour.

The fragrance offers floral aromas (violet flowers) and aromas of licorice and spices.

On the palaten the attack is soft and dominated by red fruits aromas.

The after taste is long with aromas of spices.

Un vin puissant avec beaucoup de fruits. Excellent vin rouge de chez Chapoutier.
Une très belle cuvée ce Rasteau, très proche d'un Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Je recommande ce vin rouge d'appellation Rasteau sur une viande rouge saignante.
Un très bon rapport qualité / prix, je conseil ce vin.
Sur le fruit bien mûre, ce Rasteau est d'une magnifique persistance aromatique.

    Polydor Chapoutier, whose family lives in the Rhône Valley at Tain-l'Hermitage since 1808, bought his first vines in 1879.

    The work of the vine and his vinification was passed on to his children, and in 1950 Max Chapoutier arrived at the head of the domain until his retirement in 1977.
