Pierre Lancelot created the House in 1960. The operation was then taken over by his daughter Sylvie and his son Michel Chauvet in 1996.

The caves are carved into a chalk hill just behind the house and have been widely expanded in recent years to accommodate all reserve wines.

The wine press is at the top of the hill, the mash is fed into the tanks by gravity.

Today, the passion of the couple Chauvet makes a fabulous Champagne with an unforgettable richness.
