Vin Bourgogne Mercurey

There are 15 products.

It is clearly the most important communal appellation in volume of the Côte chalonnaise . It develops in three communes: Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu, Mercurey and Bourgneuf-Val-d'Or.

Mercurey is north of Chalon-Sur-Saône, on the Chagny-Cluny road. Its vineyard borders on that of Rully .

Some of the places-such as Clos des Barault, Champs Martin , and Clos l'eveque are called "premier cru".

The wines are generally well-structured, tannic, and somewhat rustic, but of great aptitude for aging.
