Products of the domain : Trichard

Between Macon and Beaujolais.

The domain showcases the vineyards of southern Burgundy and its two king varieties :Chardonnay and Gamay.

This is at La Chapelle-de-Guinchay which is the border between the Macon vineyards and the Beaujolais, that the domain managed by Jean-François Trichard is located. Founded in 1965, the vineyard now covers 12 hectares in the Beaujolais cru - Saint-Amour and Chénas - , in Beaujolais Villages and Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon-Chaintré appellations.

The whole plot is driven with the same expertise. In the cellar, the red Gamay wines are vinified according to Beaujolais tradition, with a semi-carbonic maceration. For the white, Macon Chaintre is in vats while the Pouilly-Fuissé is vinified and aged at 100% in barrels for a period of 10 months.
