Auxey has vineyards on both sides of the hill.

On the Meursault slope, we produce some formidable white wines which, without having the reputation of the great appellations like Chassagne Meursault or Puligny , are very interesting. The first Crus rouges of Duresse and Val are particularly well-known. The name produces about 2hl in white and 4hl in red.
