Château Haut-Brion, in the commune of Pessac is the most famous winery of the Graves vineyard.


"Premier Grand Cru Classé" according to the 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines, it shares this rare distinction with Margaux, Latour, Mouton Rothschild and Lafite Rothschild. In addition, Château Haut-Brion is also classified as gravel Cru classification in 1959.
