In 1980, Françoise Triaud bought the first parcels. After four years of research, and after signing a twenty different deeds, she was able to restore 35 hectares of vineyards of Château Bel Air.

The soil consists of beautiful gravelly ridges, and the basement is predominantly blue clay.
