The Chevalier family operates the domain since 1922, and each generation has made its contribution to the domain.

Tasta Castle is located in the heart of Fronsac and Canon Fronsac between Libourne and Bordeaux, and enjoys the view of the little valley of St Aignan in St Michel de Fronsac.

It is a property of 18 ha including 13.5 ha in Fronsac, Canon Fronsac 3.5 ha and 1 ha in Bordeaux gathered around the castle.

The soils are calcareous clay. The vinification is traditional with a manual harvest for the Canon- Fronsac.
