Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Maison Joseph Drouhin gradually expanded from the cellars of the Dukes of Burgundy and the Kings of France (12th to 18th centuries), until the Moulin de Vaudon (18th century) in Chablis.

Requirement, curiosity of mind, sense of values, passion and audacity were transmitted at the same time as the knowledge and intuition of quality.

Today the fourth generation is holding the reins. Each has its own role and implements the "Charter of Excellence" of the Drouhin family.

The Domaine Joseph Drouhin has been built over the decades, and today comprises 73 hectares in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Chablis. It is one of the most important in Burgundy, for more than two thirds in Premiers Crus and Grands Crus.

With about 90 appellations from the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties, Joseph Drouhin offers an exciting discovery of the Burgundian terroirs, in the smallest nuances of their authenticity.
