The J.CHARPENTIER Champagne’s story started 5 generations ago. It is the result of the association between Pierre Charpentier and Henri Claisse.

The vineyards are located in the valley of the Marneau which is in the heart of Champagne, 12 km west of Epernay. They are spread over many vintages, from the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

In order to obtain fruity and light champagne, it is mostly black grapes like Pinot Meunier which are used the most.

The first fermentation takes place in a tank, barrel or in oak casks. It lasts between two weeks and one month.

The quality and precision of work make it an excellent Champagne!
