Château Gloria, located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle is a 44 ha vineyard in the Médoc.
From a gravelly soil, the vineyard is planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet franc, 5% and small verdotà.
Henri Martin in 1942 acquired a plot of 6 ha, bought to the Château Beychevelle. Gloria was born, and the new owner managed over the years to buy plots from the famous castles of Saint-Julien appellation, to finally constitute an area of 44 ha.
The average yield is 45 hl / ha. The estate produces a second wine, Château Peymartin, which represents about 20% of the total volume.
