In Gironde, Château de Malle is one of the rare historic monuments of the seventeenth century, we find the first traces of vineyards around the fifteenth century.

The castle lies in the municipality of Preignac, on a vineyard classified second Grand cru in 1855 in the official classification of Bordeaux wines.

The property extends over three communes: Preignac, Toulenne and Fargues, and operates two prestigious AOC that are Graves and Sauternes even if Sauternes remains the majority of the production of Château de Malle.

Today, the Comtesse de Bournazel, assisted by his eldest son Paul - Henry, pays particular attention to the vinification of the wines in the purest tradition: the wines are aged and bottled at the chateau.
