Château Faugères and Péby Faugères are purchased by the family Esquissaud in 1823.
In 1987 Pierre-Bernard Guisez inherits this castle while all the wine is sold to a single merchant of the place.
Aided by his wife Corinne, he enlisted in the lives of vineyards : They are therefore constantly looking for quality and demonstrate an energy and an unwavering determination to achieve excellence in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru.
